San Diego County

Our San Diego County Bail Bonds Office

COUNTY.

A sun-drenched tourist hotspot, there’s so much more to San Diego than its pristine beaches and one-of-a-kind attractions. With a crime rate 15% below the national average, San Diego is celebrated for being safer than 34% of other US cities, boasting the lowest violent crime rate out of the top ten most populated cities nationally. While San Diego has long-held ties to drug trafficking, the most common crime is theft, namely vehicle theft, and burglary, with the crime rate showing a steady decline.

A hub of diversity, with a population nearing 1.5 million, this bustling metropolis is known globally as ‘America's Finest City’, charming visitors with its immaculate year-round weather, surfing spots, and art scene. Leaders in technology, as well as tourism, international trade, and manufacturing, we work round-the-clock to help inmates in San Diego return to their loved ones, work commitments, and life as they knew it.

At Abaasy Bail Bonds, we pride ourselves on bridging the gap between San Diego arrestees and freedom, reuniting families, kickstarting new chapters, and easing the pressure on the prison system. The home of ultra-efficient bail bonds, we work hand-in-hand with inmates across San Diego, Chula Vista, and El Cajon (and beyond!), with a team of sought-after specialists just a tap away.

JAILS.

Home to 32 jails and prisons, we predominately assist inmates within four; San Diego, Chula Vista, Vista Detention Facility, and El Cajon, each serving unique populations. Should you need to get in touch with an inmate, our team have vast experience efficiently liaising between the relevant parties.

Located on 1173 Front St., San Diego Central Jail is a 944-bed facility, known for representing the largest jail in the county at 417,000 sq. ft over 11 floors. An incredibly advanced facility, with expansive medical and psychiatric services, you can expect your loved one to be transferred to a longer-term facility after 36 hours if bond is not posted.

Located on 315 Fourth St., Chula Vista is a 50-bed facility, known for being the only jail operated by the local police department. The smallest facility in the county, you can expect to be released within minutes upon posting bail. Should your loved one fail to provide bail, they will be transferred to San Diego County.

Located on 325 S. Melrose Dr., Vista Detention Facility is an 886-bed facility for men and women, known for offering a unit solely for ex-veterans, known as the ‘Moving Forward’ program. With a range of services available for arrestees, including X-rays, infectious disease control, dental care, and psychiatric services, Vista often houses inmates involved in ‘high-publicity’ cases.

Located on 100 Fletcher Parkway, El Cajon is one of the busiest county jails in the region, having transitioned from an ICE facility in 2016 to cope with demand.

COURTS.

San Diego is home to seven courts; Central Courthouse, North County, South County, and East County for a multitude of matters, Kearny Mesa for traffic violations, Hall of Justice for civil claims, and Juvenile Court for crimes committed by minors and adoption hearings. Almost all courts have self-help centers designed to offer resources, services, and free assistance for a range of issues.
